Terms & Conditions of Workshops

​

General Details for Face-to-face Workshop

  • Workshop for this style is on day and will start at 9.00am and will be finished by 4.30pm, it is recommended that you arrive early to be able to choose your leather colours and style of flower and headpiece.

  • COVID - Participants are not required to be vaccinated or wear a mask.  Unless Queensland Health regulations change.

  • Class size: Maximum of 6 students per group.

  • Students are required to observe the 1.5m square metre "rule" between participants.

  • Hand sanitiser will be made available at the workshop for all students, please use this regularly whilst using equipment in the workshop area.  Al equipment will be sanitised prior to students use.

  • If any student feels unwell, they must notify Sherilee Honnery as soon as they can and not come to the course.

  • All tools, materials and consumables will be supplied for students as part of the workshop fee.

  • A variety of kangaroo leather colours will be made available, however, these are limited to base colours.

  • Participants must be 16 years and over.

  • If the workshop is for a special celebration, please let Sherilee know. E.g. Birthday, Hens Day

  • Workshop Address:  75 Rangewood Drive, Rangewood Qld 4817(view location on Google Maps).  This is a private residence with a studio area dedicated to workshops and creativity.

  • Parking is available at front of the residence along the footpath area, or in the driveway for shade if any.

Catering:

  • Morning tea with home made goodies will be provided as part of the workshop fee.

  • Lunch consisting cold meats, quiches and salads ill be provided as part of the workshop fee, all homemade.

  • Non Alcoholic Refreshments will also be made available, students are more than welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages if they wish.

  • Any allergies or special dietary requirements must be advised 2 weeks prior to workshop or at time of booking online.

Booking a workshop and payment:

  • Individual bookings for set date workshops as advertised will be processed through Try Booking, links will be available on the website www.outbackmilliner.com.au .

  • A booking request may be made by email or phone for one off group bookings.  A booking request will be dealt with in the order it is received and taken depending on availability of dates.

  • Any "unpaid" booking request made by email or phone will only be valid for 72 hours and if you are booking for a group and have not paid within the 72 hours you may lose your date if another booking is received and paid for.  

  • Payment for all workshops are by Paypal or Try Booking, details will be provided to the client when booking request is received.


Please Note: Your booking confirmation is sent after the payment is received.


Refund and cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations up to 1 (one) month prior to the workshop will be subject to a 5% deduction per person or group booking.

  • Cancellations less than 1 (one) month prior to the workshop will be subject to cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the course, you can transfer your booking to another person.

  • Students who are unable to attend the workshop, due to illness, personal or professional commitments or issues, are not entitled to refund, however you can transfer your booking to another person by contacting Sherilee Honnery direct.

  • If a student has paid for their workshop and their place is confirmed, and the student fails to attend that workshop, no refund will be given.

  • No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind.

 

Workshop Cancellation:

  • Outback Milliner reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient numbers.

  • Outback Milliner reserves the right to cancel any workshop if there is a risk to any customers Health & Safety.

  • Outback Milliner reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to ill health or any unforeseen emergency experienced by any instructor.

  • In the event Outback Milliner cancels a workshop they will offer a full monetary refund or will offer you the opportunity to transfer to another date.

Photography:  

  • Photography of any individual/s attending any workshop is not permitted unless that person gives their express consent.

  • Customers attending any workshop are NOT permitted to use any video or electronic recording device.

  • Still photography of any demonstration inside the studio is permitted. 

  • Outback Milliner reserves the right to photograph any workshop/class project, that image may be used on Outback Milliner website or social media e.g. Facebook or Instagram page as an example for others, to promote that workshop/class.

Conduct: 

  • Participants in any workshop are expected to be polite and courteous to fellow participants and guests.

  • Outback Milliner reserves the right to refuse entry to any workshop, or ask a client to leave if they behave inappropriately towards another client or instructor.

  • Clients and customers are responsible for their own belongings.

​

Use of premises and equipment: 

  • Equipment is made available where mentioned in workshop descriptions.  Any equipment and tools made available are for use while attending workshops only and cannot be removed from the property.

  • Participants can access toilet facilities any time during scheduled workshop.

  • Studio workshop participants have access to a patio outside the studio for lunch, morning or afternoon tea if required.
